DAC Ketoconazole is a strong anti-fungal medication that is useful in treating severe and persistent fungal infections ( Candidiasis ) and aspergillosis. This product is labeled for pigeons, raptors, and hobby birds, please consult your veterinarian for appropriate dose for your birds and use responsibly.

To restore your birds healthy digestive system bacteria we recommend following up antibiotic and antiprotozoal treatments with a probiotic such as Vetafarm Probiotic or Healthline Restore Pro-Biotic.

Uses:

Fungal infections (Aspergillosis & Candidiasis) in pigeons and birds of prey.

Aspergillosis is a fungal infection of the airways. Candida is a fungus (yeast) affecting the upper part of the digestive tract.

Dosage:

For Pigeons: 1 tablet for 1 pigeon. Treat for 5 successive days or as a vet prescribes.

For Raptors: 1 table per 500g of bodyweight. Treat for 5 successive days or as a vet prescribes.

It’s important to realize that aspergillosis usually occurs as a secondary infection. The bird’s resistance will have reduced primarily as a result of another disease or disorder, bad or insufficient food, or poor accommodation. Accommodation must be cleaned regularly and the use of littler that may promote fungal growth must be avoided.
