Doxycycline is the antibiotic in this formula and is combined with the mucolytic bromhexine. Bromhexine can increase comfort of your bird(s), and their ease of breathing, while being treated for respiratory infection, improving outcomes. Doxycycline is a broad spectrum antibiotic that is a good choice for most respiratory infections.
