Lice and mites are parasites that feed on the blood from our avian companions. Treating with Avian Insect Liquidator provides instant control of pests on contact with a 6 week residual protection against reinfestation. Avian Insect Liquidator penetrates into the plumage of birds to kill mites and lice under the feathers and skin. This product is 100% safe to use on all ornamental birds and their environments.

Lice and mites can cause skin irritation, itchiness, powdery, flaky deposits and sometimes scabs. Severe infestation can result in other health issues such as anaemia, reproductive issues and immune system issues for your birds.

Avian Insect Liquidator was formulated by avian veterinarians to control avian lice (order Phthiraptera, suborder Mallophaga) in ornamental caged birds and their environment. Provides instant knockdown of mites and lice and 6 weeks residual protection of both birds and their environment.

Suitable for any situation where external parasites are a problem – including nest boxes, flights, perches, aviary floors, indoor cages and for direct application to the bird.

Directions for use:

Not to be used on birds producing meat or eggs intended for human consumption

DILUTE BEFORE USE.

Prepare a 5% solution of Avian Insect Liquidator by diluting it with water and shake well.

For example: To create a 1000ml bottle of solution you mix 50ml of concentrate with 950ml (32oz) of water. To create a 500ml bottle of solution you mix 25ml of concentrate with 475ml (16oz) of water. These mixtures result in a 5% solution you can apply to your birds.

Use product to control Avian lice and mites on ornamental birds, including parrots, finches and canaries.

Spray product directly onto bird by holding spray 30-40cm from the bird.

Use 4–5 pumps of diluted solution, (0.8mL/pump) per bird, and you may repeat in 6 weeks or as necessary.

Cages, aviaries, perches and nest boxes should also be sprayed thoroughly with the diluted product.

Protection Of Fish

This product is harmful to fish. Do not contaminate steams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used containers. Cover fish tanks before use.

Storage

Store product below 30°C/86°F (Room Temperature) in the closed original container,  in a cool, dry place and protect from light. Product shelf life is 3 years from the date of manufacture.

Disposal

Always dispose of empty container by wrapping the used bottle in paper, placing it in a plastic bag and then, putting it in garbage.
