Doxycycline 20% Powder – Why We Like It:

Doxycycline is an antibiotic treatment option for bacterial respiratory infections, ornithosis/psittacosis, and mycoplasma in pigeons and cage birds. This powder is water soluble for use in drinking water. Consult a veterinarian for species specific dosing.

Treatment:

1 teaspoon (5 grams) per 1 gallon of drinking water for 7-10 consecutive days. Change water daily.

Warning: 

This product is formulated for pet birds only. Do not use on livestock or other animals intended for human consumption.

Contents: 

20g of Doxycycline per 100g of product.

1 gram of powder contains 200mg of Doxycycline. For accurate dosing use of a gram scale is recommended over using kitchen measuring devices (measuring spoons) when working with antibiotics.

Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures and sun.
