DAC Spiradac – Why We Like It:

DAC Spiradac powder contains the active ingredient of Spiramycin, also known as Suanovil, used in the treatment of respiratory infections affecting the infraorbital (eye/sinus) cavity. This product is added to your birds drinking water. Spiromycin is a macrolide antibiotic and is a good choice when the eyes and sinus cavity are affected and also when other antibiotic options are not producing results.

Product is labeled for use in pigeons. Consult a veterinarian for questions related to species specific dosing.

Made after the old Suanovil formula, this is the most effective medication on the market today for the treatment against ornithosis, wet eyes and swelling of the head. The active ingredient is Spiramycin. This product can be safely used during the racing season, as it won’t effect condition.

Use:

Add one teaspoon per gallon of water for 7 days

Notes:

When administering DAC Spiradac be sure no other water, grit or limestone is available during treatment.

Advice:

DAC multivitamins should be given to your bird for at least one day after treatment. Do not give the day of shipping.
