Pantex Coli-Amox – Why We Like It:

Pantex Coli-Amox is a broad-spectrum antibiotic containing Amoxicillin and Colistin (also know as polymyxin E). This product is a water soluble powder for drinking water for birds. Pantex Coli-Amox is a good choice when options like Tiamulin are not producing desired results. This product is labeled for use in pigeons. Please consult your veterinarian for species specific dosing.

Indications:

Treatment of infections caused by micro-organisms susceptible to amoxicillin and/or colistin. Broad-spectrum activity and optimal penetration in tissues.

Composition:

Per gram:

Amoxicillin base (as trihydrate) 200 mg

Colistin base (as sulphate) 50 mg

Dosage and administration:

Orally via the drinking water.
The general dose is 1 levelled measuring spoon per 2 litres of drinking water.
(measuring spoon included, 1 levelled spoon is ≈ 8 grams)

Curative treatment: administer during 5-7 consecutive days.

Change medicated water on a daily basis and supply as sale source of drinking water for treatment duration

Storage:

Store below 25 °C (77 °F), in a dry place and protected from light.
