Medpet Avivet – Why We Like It:

Medpet Avivet is a combination of the antibiotic Amoxycillin and supportive vitamins to aid in recovery. This product is easy to administer in your pigeons or other birds drinking water.

This product is labeled for use in pigeons. Please consult your veterinarian for species specific dosing.

We always recommend giving your animals probiotics after antibiotic use such as Healthline Restore Pro-Biotic or Vetafarm Probiotic.

A broad spectrum water-soluble antibiotic for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial diseases in pigeons and birds.

High concentrations of the Amoxycillin antibiotic makes it unique in treating life-threatening infections of amongst others, the lungs and gut, e.g. E.coli and Salmonella. Fortified with vitamins to speed up recovery. Very safe with minimal side effects. Not effective against Chlamydia psittaci (Psittacosis) – in these cases Doxybiotic (Doxycycline) must be used.

Dosage: 

Add 5g to 1L of drinking water. Make fresh solutions daily. Administer for 5-7 consecutive days. Change water daily.

1 gram contains 400mg of Amoxycillin. 5 grams = 2g(2000mg) of Amoxycillin
