Avian Health Shake can be used as a supplement for sick birds, a boost for breeding flocks, to fill in critical nutrition needs commercial feed does not provide for breeds like silkies and other vaulted breeds, bantams, and birds needing to gain weight.

This is a complete feed so it is excellent for birds with special needs, in a mash or tube fed. Great to mix with raw eggs from your flock. This feed contains a healthy balance of Omega 3 & 6, it’s high in natural vitamin E and has natural sources of Selenium. Silkie Snacks are like Scooby Snacks for chickens (turkeys and guinea also approve). A scratch mix with purpose.

The ingredients offer an experience to please the senses of your feathered friends while providing them with natural sources of protein, healthy omega fats, vitamin E, selenium, B vitamins, manganese, & magnesium.

This product is a mix I make for my silkies and other crested birds that often have a need for additional E and healthy fats in their diet. Giving treats is a way to bond with your flock and should not exceed 10% of their diet. Why not make that 10% also give them a boost!

The Black Soldier Fly larvae used in this mix is farmed in the British Columbia. Many treats you pick up in the store contain mealworms and almost all the mealworms are from China.
